The new Stradic SW range takes the Stradic family of reels to the next level. Purpose-built for offshore, saltwater fishing, the Stradic SW features some of our top reel technologies found in our top end reels. Drawing upon the Stella SWC, both Infinity Drive and Silent Drive are included which provides improved pinion gear support and less wobble inside the reel translating to more powerful, and smoother, cranking. Improving upon the Stradic FL series, the SW series incorporates all the same water resistance technologies, but also includes X-Shield, an internal structure that helps keep water out and protects the internal gears. Coming in a 5000XG, 6000XG, 8000PG and 10000HG size, the Stradic SW range will be perfect for those looking for a lighter, offshore reel.

HAGANE gear
A metal block is pressed at a pressure of about 200 tons and finished with micron accuracy without cutting. A unique technology called precision cold forging creates hard, tenacious gears that enable highly durable and smooth winding comfort.
HAGANE body
A highly rigid aluminum alloy is used for the body housing to firmly suppress bending, distortion, and twisting of the reel. Protects delicate gear engagement and enables smooth reeling.
Infinity drive
The conventional X-SHIP structure realizes light winding by supporting both ends of the pinion gear with bearings. This new model is equipped with an Infinity Drive structure that is a further evolution of that structure. The main shaft, which was previously supported by the pinion gear, is now non-contact and supported by a special low friction bush, which greatly reduces the sliding resistance of the main shaft. In addition, the main shaft itself has been given a special surface treatment to further reduce friction. The rotational torque has been reduced by about 30% * compared to the conventional model, and it has evolved into a powerful reel that can be actively wound even under heavy load.

X shield
Water intrusion route is blocked by applying strong sealing everywhere, including the body / lid mating surface and spool / drag knob contact area. Ensures high reliability and durability in SW games that are played under harsh conditions.
X-Protect for Stopper Bearing
A contact type triple lip structure is used for the stopper bearing. By filling with special grease, frictional resistance is suppressed and high waterproof performance is demonstrated without impairing silky rotation performance. Due to the synergistic effect with the X shield, the waterproof performance of the body is equivalent to the waterproof standard IPX8.

X-Protect for Line Roller
In addition to the stopper bearing part, the NEW Stradic SW is equipped with its X-protect structure on the line roller part, further improving the waterproof performance. Similar to the stopper bearing part, the structure has evolved to withstand high water pressure by physically blocking the intrusion route of seawater with a seal member as shown in the figure. The bearing inside the line roller is protected from harsh environments, and the durability of the bearing is more than 10 times * compared to the conventional product.
